We called Vickie after our minister person quit on us 5 days before our wedding. Our venue’s coordinator suggested her and we are SOOO happy she did. Vickie was so understanding and she told us not to worry that she would make a great ceremony and SHE DID! It was a perfect ceremony! So if you need someone then call Vickie Michels she is outstanding and thoughtful. She even sent us an email afterwards congratulating us and explaining how to get the certificate to change my name. That is service that goes above and beyond in my opinion.
First let me say my wedding was beautiful. Next Vickie is a warm amazing person. I can’t thank her enough, she understands people and is patient with them. I was a very nervous bride so Vicki had a lot on her plate dealing with me. She says you can contact her anytime, she means it. We had more than 8 skype calls in two months, not little calls but hour to two hour calls. She made my nervousness go away by the time of my wedding and she came with a little bunch of lavender from her garden, she said it was a flower that relaxes people and did worked. My mother took the lavender and made a little bouquet to pin on my dress. I was totally chill during the ceremony and reception, it was wild. I’m married! I’m really freaking married! We hired Vickie for our 10th vow renewal. Originally we had eloped, so we invited the whole family this time (70 people). The ceremony was wonderful, romantic and personal feeling. We give her 5 Stars it was perfect.

Vickie did an amazing job at our wedding. She was loud and professional. She took the time to talk to my new wife who was a little nervous and helped calm her nerves before the ceremony. Even though we were running late, Vickie didn’t sweat it. She was real cool and calm. It takes a special kind of person to care about other people and take the time to really listen. Vickie is kind, caring, funny and everything you would want in an officiant. We are so happy we called her to perform our elopement. We live in Montana and we wanted a beach ceremony. She explained what we needed to do for a marriage license and suggested some locations for getting married. She also suggested an terrific restaurant in Newport for our first dinner as Newlyweds.
Rev. Michels did exactly as we asked. My impression is that she will cater to whatever your needs are from a very formal wedding to what we had a very small casual wedding. She was on time and very accommodating. I would recommend her to anyone.

Vickie did an amazing job at our wedding on August 29th, 2015, she was early, so she went and filled out the wedding license so that it was ready at the end. She was loud and vocal so everyone could hear her throughout the barn. It was amazing, thank you so much for everything!

Vickie Michels was fantastic! She had no problem communicating with us about our ceremony and allowing us to customize what we wanted. We asked quite a few questions, to which she replied in a timely manner with her answers. On top of this, she arrived a handful of minutes early and hung with us while we waited for our tardy matron of honor. And on such a warm day, she had the foresight to bring a hand held fan that the bride could use to stay cool. On top of all this, she was wonderfully sweet and good humored. Choose this woman, she is absolutely wonderful, and incredibly adaptable!

Vickie was amazing and an integral part of my son's wedding on the beach in Lincoln City. Communication was outstanding, she answered all of their questions in a timely manner. Vickie is awesome! She is wonderfully sweet but can be tough and reign in some unruly wedding party members if needed. She worked through a microphone failing and no one noticed. She was on time and worked without ever changing schedule. I am so happy she was the person to marry us!

Rev. Vickie was very nice on the phone. She was relaxed but very excited to help us make our day special. We couldn’t meet her until our wedding day because we live in a different state. However, we felt very comfortable knowing she was going to be our officiant. When we met her in person we were just as thrilled to know we were right to trust her.
